About the role

MUFG’s two-year Analyst Programme in Hong Kong develops graduates for careers across Corporate Functions, including Operations, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Planning and transformation teams. Participants rotate across teams and product offices, contributing to analysis, governance, reporting and stakeholder coordination while receiving mentoring, coaching, development opportunities and potential overseas training.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Rotate across Corporate Functions teams and product offices over two years, subject to business needs.
  • Support analysis, governance, reporting and stakeholder coordination across Operations, Compliance, Risk, Finance and Planning.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support organisational change and business success.

Development and Training

  • Receive an ongoing, network-wide development programme with potential overseas training opportunities.
  • Benefit from mentoring, senior-management interaction, career coaching from HR and managers, and external training events.
  • Participate in company visits and staff engagement activities to build internal networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with less than one year of postgraduate full-time work experience.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and learning agility, with a self-motivated, positive approach.
  • Applicants should show integrity, control awareness, professional judgement and confidence engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • English and Chinese proficiency are required; Chinese may be Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
  • Japanese language capability is advantageous, alongside a genuine interest in banking and finance.
