About the role

Join MUFG as a Middle Office Reporting and Process Automation Intern in Singapore from January to June 2027. Gain hands-on experience in reporting, analytics, process improvement, and automation within a global banking environment supporting APAC operations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support reporting and process automation initiatives in the Middle Office Regional Reporting Hub.
  • Assist automation using Excel VBA, MS Access, Python, Power Platform, and other tools.
  • Develop skills in data analysis, validation, and quality control for accurate reports.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and streamline workflows.
  • Participate in testing and implementation of reporting and automation solutions.
  • Support creation of documentation, user guides, and knowledge-sharing materials.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong interest in reporting, analytics, automation, and technology-driven process improvement.
  • Familiarity with databases, data visualization, or workflow automation tools.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Python, VBA, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Internship period: 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027.
  • Role based in Singapore, open to Singaporean and PR students only.
