About the role

A Hong Kong summer internship with MUFG’s Global Compliance team, offering practical exposure to regulatory research, compliance reviews, KYC and AML-related work, monitoring, reporting, and process improvement. The programme provides training, networking, mentoring, and hands-on experience within an international banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory research and summarise relevant requirements and regulatory developments.
• Assist with compliance reviews, documentation, reporting, and data-quality checks.
• Contribute to monitoring, issue tracking, process improvement, and compliance awareness initiatives.
• Handle confidential information carefully while developing analytical skills and professional judgement.

Programme Experience

• Participate in training opportunities and on-the-job learning.
• Build networks with peers, managers, colleagues, and senior leaders across the bank.
• Receive guidance from a line manager and allocated buddy throughout the programme.
• Gain hands-on exposure to MUFG’s process framework through value-adding projects.
