Leveraged and Acquisition Finance Intern

About the role

Join MUFG's Leveraged and Acquisition Finance team as an intern in Singapore from January to June 2027. Gain hands-on experience in deal origination, execution, and monitoring with Private Equity clients, developing financial and communication skills in a global banking environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Work across all aspects of leveraged and acquisition finance to understand MUFG's client products and services.
• Gain experience in deal lifecycle including origination, proposals, execution, and post-deal monitoring.
• Prepare pitch books to support M&A financing mandates and strategic dialogues with Private Equity clients.
• Support senior team in credit analysis, structuring, financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio monitoring.
• Collaborate with various banking product teams like Global Markets and Debt Capital Markets.
• Develop presentation and communication skills by presenting projects to business partners and management.

Job Requirements

• Keen interest in finance with relevant prior internship experience.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, pitch book creation, credit and financial statement analysis.
• Action-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Collaborative approach with eagerness to learn.
