About the role

Corporate Banking Intern in MUFG’s Singapore team supporting relationship managers and financial-institution clients across origination, financing execution, presentations, approvals, and post-deal monitoring. The six-month internship offers exposure to multiple banking products and opportunities to develop presentation and communication skills. Open only to Singaporean and permanent-resident students.

Responsibilities

  • Support relationship management and coverage of Singapore direct-coverage clients with corporate, subsidiary banking, and financial institutions teams.
  • Contribute across origination, business proposals, deal execution, and post-deal monitoring.
  • Support execution of corporate financing transactions for clients.
  • Prepare client presentations and develop relationships through deal execution and pitching.
  • Prepare internal materials and assist with internal approval processes.
  • Work with stakeholders across Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Loans and Bonds, and Transaction Banking.

Requirements

  • Be a Singaporean or permanent-resident student.
  • Show keen interest in the finance industry and have relevant prior internship experience.
  • Demonstrate strong pitch-book creation, credit analysis, and financial statement analysis skills.
  • Bring an action-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Have strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrate collaboration, eagerness to learn, and ethical behavior aligned with MUFG’s core values.
