Sustainable Finance Intern

About the role

Six-month front-office internship in MUFG’s Asian Investment Banking Division Sustainable Finance Department in Singapore. The intern will support sustainable finance origination, transaction structuring, business development, product development, marketing materials, industry events and cross-product collaboration across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Support Sustainable Finance origination and transaction structuring across the APAC region.
• Analyse markets, client targets and rating tools for business development and marketing initiatives.
• Develop and enhance Sustainable Finance products with senior team members and partner functions.
• Prepare marketing materials, reports and business management reports.
• Support MUFG-led industry events and collaborate with relationship managers and product areas.
• Gain cross-product experience across Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance and Transaction Banking.

Requirements

• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using data analytics to develop insights and narratives from numbers.
• Interest or passion in sustainability and Sustainable Finance.
• Willingness to read research papers and follow the latest innovations.
• Curious, energetic, diligent, determined, collaborative, focused and results-oriented.

Eligibility and Application

• Based in Singapore and open only to Singaporean and permanent resident students.
• Internship partners include NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and SUSS.
