Summer Internship Programme 2027 – Global Corporate Banking

About the role

A Hong Kong summer internship in MUFG’s Global Corporate Banking stream. Interns support relationship management, client analysis, research, and solution development for local and multinational corporate clients, gaining exposure to cross-border business, internal product partners, and risk-aware decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Research clients, industries, markets, and relevant economic developments.
• Prepare client materials, account planning documents, and internal presentations.
• Analyse client needs across financing, trade, cash management, treasury, and cross-border banking services.
• Coordinate with product, risk, compliance, and operations stakeholders on client-related work.
• Support projects improving client coverage, data quality, or team effectiveness.

Programme Experience

• Build networks with peers, managers, colleagues, and senior leaders across the bank.
• Receive support from a line manager and allocated buddy throughout the programme.
• Participate in training opportunities and on-the-job learning.
• Gain hands-on exposure to MUFG’s process framework through value-adding projects.
• The internship may provide a pipeline to future career opportunities with MUFG.
