Project Finance Intern

About the role

Internship at MUFG's Asian Investment Banking Division in Project Finance, supporting financial advisory and limited recourse financing in sectors like power and infrastructure. Based in Singapore from January to June 2027.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support Shared Resource Team in project finance origination, execution, and management.
• Conduct financial analysis and run models to assess project bankability.
• Research industry information and review due diligence reports.
• Prepare business and credit memos for business opportunities.
• Create presentation materials, pitchbooks, and proposals.
• Perform credit paper preparation and administrative tasks including KYC and client onboarding.

Requirements

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to assist in building complex financial models.
• Basic accounting knowledge and strong finance background.
• Energetic, determined problem solver with strong work ethic.
• Team player with diligence and commitment.
