Financial Institutions Intern

About the role

MUFG offers a Financial Institutions Internship in Singapore from January to June 2027. Interns support strategic initiatives, business growth, and project management within the Financial Institutions team in Asia Pacific.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for Financial Institutions business growth in Asia.
• Act as primary analyst on key Asia projects for senior management review.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to learn banking products including investment banking and treasury.
• Support business proposals, credit analysis, deal execution, KYC, and AML processes.
• Develop presentations and communicate with business partners and senior management.
• Conduct problem solving using qualitative and quantitative data analysis.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office including Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines.
• Positive attitude with quick learning ability.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and work independently.
