About the role
The London Technology Industrial Placement offers classroom and on-the-job training alongside experienced technologists. Participants contribute to live, project-based software work across the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through testing, deployment and enhancement, while receiving mentoring, coaching, evaluations and exposure to Morgan Stanley’s Technology division.
Responsibilities
- Meet clients to gather and analyse requirements for technology solutions.
- Determine, design and develop solutions to address client and business problems.
- Test, deploy and enhance applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work on applications including reporting workflows and low-latency electronic trading systems.
Programme Experience
- Work alongside experienced colleagues on real, project-based technology assignments.
- Participate in an induction covering Morgan Stanley and the Technology division.
- Attend senior management networking events, team-building opportunities and technical speaker sessions.
- Receive regular mentoring, coaching and evaluation reviews throughout the placement.
