2027 Technology Graduate Apprenticeship Programme - IT Management For Business (Glasgow)

About the role

Technology graduate apprenticeship in Glasgow combining a four-year work-and-study programme with an IT Management for Business degree at Strathclyde University. Apprentices attend university one day weekly and Morgan Stanley four days, rotating across Technology disciplines including infrastructure, cybersecurity, project management, change management, business management, and data analytics.

Programme Structure

• Four-year apprenticeship supporting completion of an IT Management for Business degree.
• Attend Strathclyde University on campus one day per week.
• Work at Morgan Stanley four days per week under a day-release model.
• Rotate across different Technology division areas to meet degree requirements and gain broad experience.

Technology Areas

• Technology infrastructure, including hardware, networks, and storage.
• Cybersecurity and technology risk.
• IT project management and agile team enablement.
• Change management, including management of code and technology changes.
• Business management and data analytics.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrate a passion for technology and interest in a technology career within financial services.
• Have a basic understanding of work undertaken within a Technology division.
• Show effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Have good attention to detail.

Eligibility and Qualifications

• Minimum of four Scottish Higher grades at BBBB, including Mathematics, Computing Science, or Physics.
• Preferably hold National 5 English at grade C or above.
• HNC or HND qualifications will be considered.
• Open to Scottish students in their fifth or sixth year of high school, based in Scotland.
