About the role
Morgan Stanley’s 2027 Technology Full Time Analyst Programme in London combines 12 weeks of global training with placement into a Technology team. Participants may join development, enterprise engineering or business analysis teams, supporting applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, data and technology solutions after completing the programme.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications, from requirements gathering and system design through testing and production deployment.
- Develop high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems and complex workflow and lifecycle management capabilities.
- Build networks, cybersecurity infrastructure, cloud integrations, computing hardware, databases and other enterprise technology platforms.
- Develop data security solutions, manage Windows and Linux infrastructure deployments, and support cloud adoption.
- Analyse, capture and validate business requirements with technology teams using agile methods.
- Apply technical, data analytics, data science and process excellence skills to product analysis and solution development.
Training and Placement
- Analysts are pre-placed within Technology and join a team matching their skills and interests after training.
- The 12-week programme includes four weeks of computer science foundation training and eight weeks of intensive technology training.
- Training covers proprietary technologies and culminates in a group project.
- Participants build a global peer network throughout the training programme.
- Analysts are welcomed for the programme in July and August.
Requirements
- Currently studying toward, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or another STEM subject.
- Expected to obtain a 2:1 overall degree result.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork and analytical skills.
- Have strong Linux/Unix and Windows knowledge, plus competency in at least one programming language.
- Understand object-oriented development, data structures, algorithms and complexity theory, with strong database and scripting skills.
- Previous financial services experience is not required.
