About the role

Six-month off-cycle internship in Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Real Estate Investing team in London, commencing February 2027. Interns support real estate investment opportunities through financial modelling, market analysis, valuation, research, presentations, and meetings while working alongside experienced investment professionals.

Responsibilities

• Collect and synthesise financial and operating information on potential investments and relevant industries.
• Build financial models to support analysis of real estate investment opportunities.
• Gather market data to analyse trends and value and price transactions.
• Draft presentations and memoranda for audiences across the Firm.
• Attend team discussions and partner meetings, presenting selected materials when required.

Placement and training

• The internship typically lasts six months and begins in February 2027.
• Receive on-the-job training while working alongside experienced professionals on varied projects.
• Take on selected responsibilities and functions of a full-time Analyst for a limited period.
