About the role
Join Morgan Stanley’s Glasgow Operations Graduate Apprenticeship, supporting trade processing, reconciliations, reporting, systems projects, and stakeholder relationships. Rotate across Operations while working toward a BA (Hons) in Business Management with the University of Strathclyde. The programme suits students in fifth or sixth year of high school with strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Learn trade lifecycle processes, from deal capture through settlement, and resolve breaks or discrepancies.
- Prepare, compile, and analyse metrics and dashboards supporting business decisions and strategy.
- Participate in projects, systems testing, and initiatives designed to mitigate operational risk efficiently.
- Collaborate with colleagues on daily tasks, knowledge sharing, issue follow-ups, escalations, and best-practice development.
- Understand stakeholder priorities, protect client confidentiality, and help deliver a high-quality client experience.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrate leadership, interpersonal, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Show close attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and quick information evaluation.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritise work appropriately, and demonstrate strong organisational skills.
- Be studying in, or have completed, the fifth or sixth year of high school or equivalent.
