About the role
A 10-week summer internship in Morgan Stanley’s Global Capital Markets division, offering experience with capital raising, advisory, transaction execution, financial analysis, modelling, and market research. Analysts join a specific desk, receive intensive training, and interact with clients and teams across Corporate Finance, Sales & Trading, Research, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Support marketing and execution for IPOs, capital increases, derivatives, securitisations, and other offerings.
- Analyse transaction precedents, shareholding structures, stock metrics, and company performance.
- Create financial models and gather market data on trends, investor sentiment, and market outlooks.
- Attend team discussions and client meetings, contributing to presentations when required.
Programme and Exposure
- Work on a specific Global Capital Markets desk while taking on Full-Time Analyst responsibilities.
- Gain exposure to business development, origination, structuring, and execution throughout the deal process.
- Understand how Corporate Finance, Sales & Trading, Research, and Mergers & Acquisitions interact.
- Participate in business-speaker sessions, practical training, peer exchanges, social activities, and events.
