About the role
The 10-week Investment Management Summer Sales Program offers Boston interns exposure to North American Intermediary Distribution. Interns receive training, support meaningful sales projects, research industry and firm trends, attend product updates, and assist with conferences. The program is intended for bachelor’s students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
Responsibilities
- Build understanding of investment management products, services, clients, and the broader financial industry.
- Research industry and firm trends to identify sales opportunities and present findings to senior management.
- Attend product training and sales-team update meetings covering MSIM and Eaton Vance products and services.
- Assist with conference planning and delivery of conference materials.
- Work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects within a North American Intermediary Distribution team.
Program Experience
- Perform a role similar to a full-time employee while experiencing Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s workplace environment.
- Develop fundamental investment management skills through structured curriculum and on-the-job training.
- Follow a potential career path toward sales or distribution roles.
