About the role

The 10-week London Summer Analyst Programme offers placement opportunities across Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Global Sales and Marketing teams, including client relationship management, sales, distribution management, and marketing, with classroom, team-specific, desk-based training, networking, business speakers, and practical sessions.

Programme Details

• The London-based programme runs for 10 weeks.
• One week of intensive classroom training begins in June.
• Training includes firm introduction, team-specific instruction, desk training, networking, and practical sessions.
• Interns will hear from business speakers and develop familiarity with the asset management industry.

Potential Teams and Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management supports client relationships from onboarding through ongoing servicing and strategic engagement.
• Global Sales raises capital, presents investment capabilities, manages relationships, and coordinates internal and client communications.
• Distribution Management delivers reporting, responds to sales queries, oversees governance, and develops management information.
• Distribution Management also supports strategic projects, operational efficiency, and growth initiatives.
• Marketing coordinates campaigns, events, analytics, stakeholder communications, speaker logistics, calendars, and research projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree with a minimum 2:1 classification.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and fluency in English.
• Excellent academic background and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate, work independently, manage time, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-starter who is driven, highly motivated, results-focused, organised, and detail-oriented.
