2027 Investment Management Off-Cycle Internship - UK Institutional Sales (London)

About the role

Join Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s UK Institutional Sales team in London from January 2027. You will support senior sales professionals serving institutional investors, prepare client materials, coordinate meetings and events, research market opportunities, and maintain sales reporting and CRM records while gaining on-the-job training alongside experienced investment management professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client pitches, presentations, due diligence materials and RFP responses for major UK institutional investors.
• Gather investment insights, market commentary and product information from investment and specialist product teams.
• Support client meetings, relationship management, follow-up actions and responses to information and performance-data requests.
• Help coordinate client events, conferences, roundtables and thought-leadership initiatives.
• Research the UK institutional investment landscape to identify business development opportunities.
• Maintain sales pipelines, CRM records, distribution lists and management information; improve team processes and reporting.

Team and Exposure

• Work within a small, dynamic UK Institutional Sales team serving pension funds, insurers, charities, endowments, foundations and family offices.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Morgan Stanley Investment Management while independently managing responsibilities, including client-facing team support.
• Gain exposure to experienced professionals and varied projects within Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s global sales force.
