About the role

The 2027 Summer Technology Analyst Program places interns in Montreal development or infrastructure teams for a project-based technology experience. Interns contribute to live projects supporting financial markets, including applications, trading systems, platforms, databases and enterprise infrastructure, while participating in training, networking and technical activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, test and deploy applications supporting the Firm’s business units.
• Gather and analyse client requirements, make system design decisions, and integrate necessary software.
• Develop high-performance, low-latency electronic trading systems and complex workflow capabilities.
• Build and manage networks, computing hardware, operating systems, databases, websites and reporting systems.

Programme and Training

• Participate in an induction day introducing the Firm and its technology organisation.
• Join a specific development or infrastructure team and work on a live project.
• Attend senior management networking events, technical demonstrations and team-building activities.
• Participate in the Firm’s community service initiatives.

Working Environment

• Montreal technology teams collaborate closely with Morgan Stanley’s New York headquarters.
• Global teams require English for oral and written communications.
