Parametric - 2027 Investment Strategy Insights Internship (New York)

About the role

Ten-week New York internship with Parametric’s investment and marketing teams, supporting thought leadership, client-focused messaging, investment content, market research, and strategic initiatives. Interns collaborate with investment, product management, and marketing partners, receive professional development and networking opportunities, and complete a capstone project presented to business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex investment concepts into clear, compelling narratives, positioning, and messaging.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitive research supporting investment capability positioning and commercialization.
• Help develop presentations, investment insights, capabilities materials, and other content.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects with investment, product management, and marketing partners.
• Contribute to additional responsibilities based on skills and evolving business needs.

Program Experience

• Gain exposure to investment management and the financial services industry.
• Learn about Parametric’s business, products, and clients.
• Work on projects supporting real business objectives.
• Network with professionals and leaders across Parametric and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
• Complete an individual or team capstone project and present recommendations to business leaders.

Requirements

• Be a junior or rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, marketing, or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong interest in investment management, financial markets, and financial services.
• Bring strong research, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Understand complex concepts and communicate them clearly and concisely.
• Show intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Self-starting ability, effective collaboration, and management of multiple priorities are required.

Logistics

• Based at Parametric’s 100 Park location in New York.
• Hybrid work environment, with most roles working in-office three days weekly and otherwise remotely.
• No relocation assistance or housing services are provided.
• Candidates must secure accommodations or live within commuting distance of the office.
