About the role
The 2027 Investment Banking Summer Associate Program in New York offers MBA and J.D. students exposure to investment banking transactions across industry coverage and product groups. Associates may support deal execution, financial and strategic analysis, industry research, client discussions, and presentations. Expected base pay is USD 175,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with the execution of investment banking deals and transactions.
- Perform financial analysis, strategic business analysis, and detailed industry research.
- Contribute to team discussions and client meetings.
- Prepare and deliver clear, compelling client presentations.
Group options
- Select and rank up to three preferred New York Investment Banking Division groups.
- Industry groups include Consumer Retail, Financial Institutions, Power & Energy, Healthcare, Industrials, Latin America, Media & Communications, Real Estate, Transportation, and Technology.
- Product groups include Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Sponsors.
Eligibility
- MBA or J.D. students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and provide complex financial analysis.
- Ability to develop appropriate corporate finance solutions.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
