About the role
Six-month Sales & Trading Off-Cycle Internship in Morgan Stanley’s Paris EU Hub, starting January or July 2027. Interns join a specific Institutional Equities or Fixed Income desk, work alongside experienced professionals, support client-focused trading activities and projects, and gain exposure to the full trade lifecycle, product development, and desk automation.
Placement and Desks
- The internship is based in Paris and runs for six months, starting in January or July 2027.
- Interns join a specific desk within Institutional Equities or Fixed Income for the program’s duration.
- Available desks include Fixed Income Interest Rate Sales, EUR Inflation, FX Sales, Commodities, and Credit Exotics.
- Other desks include Credit Sales, Securitized Products Group, Credit Trading, Institutional Equities, and Derivatives Trading.
- Additional desks include Euro Core Sales, Structured Derivatives Sales, and Derivatives Flow Sales and Trading.
Responsibilities
- Communicate value-added ideas to clients using personal views and the firm’s research.
- Develop stock pitches and investment cases based on competitive advantages, sector characteristics, and valuations.
- Support pricing requests and idea generation across the assigned desk.
- Help develop products tailored to bespoke client needs.
- Support trades from indicative quotes through post-settlement activities.
- Improve automated tools and participate in company roadshows.
