About the role
This six-month internship places recent graduates and students graduating in 2027 or 2028 in Morgan Stanley’s Copenhagen Fixed Income Sales & Trading division. You will join a specific desk, supporting client relationships, trade execution, pricing, product development, research ideas, and desk tools while receiving on-the-job training and exposure to experienced professionals.
Placement
- Based in Morgan Stanley’s Copenhagen office within the Fixed Income division.
- Join the Nordic Sales Training Program on a specific desk for the programme duration.
- Work directly on responsibilities supporting clients and desk objectives.
- Gain exposure to Sales, Trading, and Management across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Communicate value-added ideas to clients using personal opinions and the firm’s research.
- Develop stock-pitching ideas and write investment cases covering advantages, sectors, and valuations.
- Support pricing requests and generate ideas for clients and desk activity.
- Assist in developing products tailored to bespoke client needs.
- Support the full trade lifecycle, from indicative quotes through post-settlement activity.
- Improve and develop automated tools and participate in company roadshows.
Training and environment
- Receive on-the-job training while working alongside experienced professionals on varied projects.
- Undertake additional projects to broaden understanding and improve desk productivity and efficiency.
- Build a professional network through connections with peers and colleagues across the firm.
