2026 Sales & Trading Off Cycle Internship Business Control Unit (Paris)
This six-month off-cycle internship in Morgan Stanley's Paris office offers hands-on experience in the Business Control Unit within Sales & Trading. Interns support risk management, compliance, and operational controls, gaining exposure to non-financial risk and regulatory processes.

Role and Responsibilities
- Support operational risk management including Risk and Control Self Assessments and incident reporting.
- Assist in fraud risk management through controls and trade surveillance.
- Help manage conduct risk by identifying and escalating incidents.
- Support Business Continuity Planning and testing for IED businesses.
- Facilitate New Product Approval processes per global policy.

Additional Responsibilities
- Review and manage information security and data leakage controls.
- Manage electronic trading risk including policy implementation and algorithm review.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance on regulatory implementation.
- Facilitate regulatory and non-regulatory risk initiatives.
- Draft and negotiate documentation for derivative products.
