Role and Responsibilities

  • Support economists covering Euro area economies with daily tasks and long-term projects.
  • Maintain and improve analytical tools for economic forecasts.
  • Assist with client requests including updating charts, tables, and presentations.
  • Work primarily with macroeconomic and financial data.
  • Contribute to quantitative analyses and research publications based on economic data and policy events.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Penultimate or final year student with minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent.
  • Interest in macroeconomics, especially euro area focus.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with macroeconomic or financial data.
  • Experience with programming languages for data manipulation and econometric analysis.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
