About the role
Join Morgan Stanley's 10-week Off-Cycle Economics Research Internship in Frankfurt for Summer 2026. Work with the European Economics team on macroeconomic data analysis and research projects, gaining hands-on experience in a global financial services environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support economists covering Euro area economies with daily tasks and long-term projects.
- Maintain and improve analytical tools for economic forecasts.
- Assist with client requests including updating charts, tables, and presentations.
- Work primarily with macroeconomic and financial data.
- Contribute to quantitative analyses and research publications based on economic data and policy events.
Qualifications and Skills
- Penultimate or final year student with minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent.
- Interest in macroeconomics, especially euro area focus.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with macroeconomic or financial data.
- Experience with programming languages for data manipulation and econometric analysis.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure with high professional standards.
