2027 Investment Management Off-Cycle Internship - Real Estate Investing (Milan)

About the role

Six-month off-cycle internship with Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing in Milan, starting January 2027. You will support investment professionals as a Full-time Analyst equivalent, researching opportunities and industries, building financial models, analysing market data, valuing transactions, preparing materials, and participating in team and partner discussions.

Responsibilities

• Collect and synthesize financial and operating information on potential investment opportunities and industries.
• Create financial models to support real estate investment analysis.
• Gather market data to analyse trends and help value and price transactions.
• Draft presentations and memoranda for a wider audience within the Firm.
• Attend team discussions and partner meetings; deliver parts of presentations when asked.

Requirements

• University graduate, or currently studying and able to commit full-time for six months from January 2027.
• Analyse and interpret complex information quickly and accurately, with strong numerical skills and comfort using financial data.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly.
• Perform well under pressure, changing situations, and tight deadlines in a results-driven environment.
• Work effectively as a team player while managing a wide range of responsibilities.
• Maintain a commitment to excellence and high professional and ethical standards.
