About the role
Six-month off-cycle internship in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, focused on Real Estate Banking in Paris. Interns perform Full-Time Analyst-style responsibilities, including financial analysis, modeling, valuation, market research, transaction materials, team discussions, and client meetings, beginning in July 2027.
Responsibilities
- Gather and synthesize financial and operating information on companies, industries, and governments.
- Create and update financial models.
- Gather market data to analyze trends and help value and price transactions.
- Draft presentations and memoranda for internal and financial-services audiences.
- Attend team discussions and client meetings, potentially delivering parts of presentations.
- Work on a range of domestic and international transactions within an assigned group and region.
Training and Placement
- Receive on-the-job training from experienced professionals.
- Build foundational skills in financial analysis, accounting, and valuation.
- Work alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects.
- Experience the culture and atmosphere of the Investment Banking Division.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with confidence working with financial data.
- Results-driven approach and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Proven teamwork skills and ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities.
- Excellent academic background and fluency in English and French.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and summarize them effectively.
