2027 Investment Management Off-cycle Internship - Institutional Sales (Milan)

About the role

A 12-month Investment Management internship in Milan supporting the Institutional Sales team. You will assist with client materials, market research, performance reviews, fund analysis, client records and sales reporting while coordinating with internal teams. The role offers on-the-job training and begins in January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pitch books, client due diligence materials and market research for senior sales professionals.
• Source materials for prospective and existing clients, including performance reviews and fund analysis.
• Coordinate with internal business units to address clients’ operational, legal and reporting needs.
• Maintain client records, sales pipelines, marketing distribution lists, client mapping and sales reports.

Program Details

• The off-cycle internship provides experience performing responsibilities similar to a full-time Analyst.
• Work alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects in a dynamic environment.
• The internship is based in Milan and typically lasts 12 months, commencing in January 2027.

Requirements

• Excellent academic background and university graduation, or availability for a full-time internship while studying.
• Fluency in English and the local language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen interest in investment management and sales.
• Detail-oriented, highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Proactive, self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.
