2027 Investment Management Off-cycle Internship - Global Sales Support (Madrid)

About the role

The 12-month Madrid internship supports the Investment Management Global Sales team from January 2027. You will help prepare business plans, reporting, investment analysis, client materials and product positioning while collaborating with sales, investment and marketing professionals across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business plans, sales-channel reporting and financial profit-and-loss analysis for the business.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of client portfolio accounts and identify opportunities to sell investment products.
• Collaborate with investment teams to understand and position solutions and capabilities effectively.
• Support marketing colleagues in creating industry publications and strategy-focused client collateral.

Placement and Training

• The internship commences in January 2027 and typically lasts 12 months.
• The role provides exposure to Investment Management and responsibilities similar to those of a full-time Analyst.
• Receive on-the-job training while working alongside experienced professionals on varied projects.

Requirements

• Have graduated from university or be able to commit to a full-time 12-month internship while studying.
• Demonstrate outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, with an excellent academic background.
• Communicate excellently in written and spoken English and the language of the application country.
• Collaborate effectively, work independently, and demonstrate motivation, drive and results focus.
• Manage time efficiently, stay organised and work accurately within tight time constraints.

Desirable Skills

• Proficiency in data-analysis tools and programming languages would be advantageous.
• Experience with data-visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar is desirable.
