2027 Summer Internship Program (Taipei)

About the role

Morgan Stanley’s 2027 Taipei Summer Internship Program offers penultimate-year bachelor’s and master’s students immersive exposure across Compliance, Institutional Equity Sales & Trading, Operations, Research, and Technology. Interns receive orientation, work on meaningful projects with experienced professionals, and network with peers, mentors, and senior managers.

Responsibilities and Experience

• Work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects during the internship.
• Participate in immersive orientation covering Morgan Stanley’s culture, benefits, and responsibilities.
• Exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior managers.
• Take part in team-building sessions and collaborative activities.
• Submit one application for consideration across multiple hiring business areas.

Hiring Business Areas

• Compliance.
• Institutional Equity Sales & Trading, including a six-month program.
• Operations, including a six-month program.
• Research.
• Technology.

Program Details

• Summer internship period: June to August 2027.
• Six-month program period: June to December 2027.
• Location: Taipei, Taiwan.

Requirements

• Be in the penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
• Expected graduation between September 2027 and June 2028.
• Demonstrate academic excellence and a keen interest in the chosen business area.
• Show genuine interest in and understanding of Asian financial markets.
• Be analytical, insightful, quick to learn, collaborative, and able to multitask.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong English fluency.
