About the role

Moelis’s Summer Analyst will join the Private Capital Advisory Secondary Advisory team in New York, advising financial sponsors and institutional investors on LP-led secondary transactions and liquidity solutions. The role provides exposure to portfolio sales, structured solutions, NAV-based financings, market analysis, structuring advice, and transaction execution across private capital markets.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support advisory, structuring, and execution services for clients across the private capital universe.
• Work closely with senior professionals to deliver advice to institutional investors managing private markets programs.
• Provide support on market insight, structuring advice, and execution for client transactions.

Market Exposure

• Gain exposure to single-fund and multi-fund LP portfolio sales.
• Support structured and preferred equity solutions, including deferred and staggered-closing structures.
• Learn about NAV-based financings and other liquidity and portfolio-management solutions.

Team and Clients

• Join Moelis Private Capital Advisory’s global Secondary Advisory team.
• Advise financial sponsors and institutional investors on strategic liquidity solutions.
• Collaborate with industry and product groups across Moelis.

Requirements and Application

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate college or university.
• Expected graduation date must be between December 2027 and July 2028.
