2027 Investment Banking Summer Associate – Life Sciences – New York

About the role

The 10-week Summer Associate internship offers exposure to investment banking deal activity within Moelis’s Life Sciences Group. Participants advise large-cap pharmaceutical and public biotechnology companies, as well as early-stage, venture-backed businesses, while developing financial modeling, valuation, presentation, leadership, and client-interaction skills in New York.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and modeling for Life Sciences investment banking transactions.
• Prepare client presentations and interact with senior bankers and clients.
• Manage a team while demonstrating intellectual curiosity, leadership, analytical aptitude, and interpersonal skills.
• Gain exposure to transactions involving pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and venture-backed life sciences companies.

Program Details

• Complete a 10-week summer internship as a Summer Associate in the Life Sciences Group.
• Participate in a one-week training program covering financial modeling and valuation.
• Attend educational and social events designed to build understanding of the industry and Firm.

Application Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA or equivalent graduate program.
• Expected graduation date must fall between December 2027 and July 2028.
