2027 Investment Banking Summer Associate – Generalist – Houston

About the role

Moelis & Company’s 10-week Investment Banking Summer Associate program in Houston is designed for MBA students graduating between December 2027 and July 2028. As generalists, participants gain exposure to deal activity across industries while developing financial modeling, valuation, leadership, client presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and modeling across investment banking transactions.
• Manage a team and contribute meaningfully to deal activity.
• Prepare client presentations and interact with senior bankers and clients.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, leadership, analytical aptitude, and sophisticated interpersonal skills.

Program Experience

• Participate in educational and social events introducing the industry and Firm.
• Complete a one-week training program covering financial modeling and valuation.
