2026 Leadership Development Program - Chicago

About the role

Moelis & Company’s two-day virtual Leadership Development Program introduces students to investment banking through banker-led case studies, discussions, and peer networking. The program is designed for students graduating between December 2028 and May 2029 and provides insight into Moelis’ collaborative culture and career opportunities.

Program experience

• Learn about investment banking from Moelis & Company bankers through case studies and discussions.
• Network virtually with peers and gain insight into Moelis’ collaborative culture.
• Participate fully in the virtual program on Thursday, December 3 and Friday, December 4.

Application requirements

• Students with scheduled graduation dates between December 2028 and May 2029 are encouraged to apply.
• Submit a resume and personal statement of 300 words or fewer in PDF format.
• Complete the Suited assessment and share your score with Moelis.
• Apply to only one office location; multiple-location applications will not be considered.

Personal statement

• Address career goals, life experiences, and how you would contribute to Moelis’ culture of inclusion.
• Choose one prompt about navigating hardship or setting direction for a group.
• Describe actions taken, how you gained support, outcomes, and what you would do differently, where relevant.
