Women in Technology Spring Week 2027

About the role

A one-week London insight event introducing women and non-binary UK students to technology at Maven, a proprietary trading firm. Participants shadow developer graduates, complete a collaborative hackathon, attend Python and C++ training, learn about trading technology, network with employees, and may be fast-tracked for the 2028 Summer Software Developer Internship.

Programme Activities

• Shadow current Developer Graduates to experience daily life at a high-performance trading firm.
• Participate in a collaborative hackathon with the Spring Week cohort.
• Network with Maven employees and learn how departments work together.
• Immerse yourself in Maven’s technology and proprietary trading environment.

Learning and Progression

• Attend dedicated Python and C++ training led by Maven’s Head of Technology Training and Graduates.
• Build foundational technical skills and domain knowledge for proprietary trading technology.
• Be assessed throughout the week for potential fast-tracked entry to the 2028 Summer Software Developer Internship.
