Program Details

- Base salary: $150,000-$175,000 depending on education and experience
- Includes travel, accommodation, and relocation support

Responsibilities
- Design and improve automated trading algorithms
- Build quantitative pricing models like American Option Pricing
- Research and analyze trading data for opportunities
- Apply academic research to real-world financial data
- Use and master Maven’s in-house tools and systems
- Collaborate with UK counterparts and senior stakeholders
Training and Development
- 7-week technical and professional skills training in London
- Led by Maven’s Head of Technology Training & Graduates
- Focus on financial markets, quant research, and AI technologies
- Regular check-ins with Quant Researcher and Emerging Talent teams
- Dedicated learning and development budget and online platform access
- Paired with a Maven buddy for support and guidance
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in applied math, statistics, engineering, or physics
- Programming experience in Python, C++, or C#
- Interest in quantitative research, financial markets, and trading
- Motivated to improve trading strategies and identify opportunities
- Willingness to adopt emerging AI technologies
- Entrepreneurial, critical thinker, agile learner, collaborative, and results-focused
