About the role

Programme Details

• 6-month placement from April to September 2027 in London.
• Work directly on AI projects supporting finance and trading workflows.
• Develop production code, ship features, and own deliverables from day one.

Responsibilities

• Add features to AI platform and develop backend services.
• Build large language model (LLM) pipelines and improve RAG engine.
• Own projects end to end from design to implementation and review.
• Collaborate with AI-focused teams to enable firm-wide AI/ML usage.

Candidate Profile

• Strong coding skills, ideally in Python.
• Interest or coursework in machine learning and AI.
• Curiosity about financial markets; no prior finance experience required.
• Demonstrated technical depth in AI/ML through projects or research.
• Personal projects in machine learning are advantageous.
