About the role
Man Group’s London Technology Internship offers hands-on experience building and running the platform powering its hedge funds. Interns join a team for three, four or six months, contribute to software, DevOps or data engineering projects, receive formal training and mentoring, and may be considered for the Technology Foundation graduate programme.
Responsibilities
- Work on impactful projects across software development, DevOps and data engineering.
- Enhance the quantitative investment platform and integrate new datasets.
- Extend execution and order management systems and contribute to the core technology platform.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Responsible Investment and Operations teams.
- Present your project to senior management.
Programme and development
- Become fully embedded in one technology team for the internship period.
- Receive formal training and support from a dedicated buddy and mentor.
- Attend knowledge-sharing sessions and intern-specific events covering Man Group and financial services.
- Technical interests and preferences inform the team placement.
Application process
- Applications are open from 16 September to 30 October 2026.
- The process includes CV screening, an online technical assignment and a technical interview.
- The technical assignment should take no longer than one hour.
- The one-hour technical interview assesses coding skills with an engineer.
- A 30-minute final interview assesses programme suitability with a technology manager.
- Interviews may take place in London or by video call.
