Off-Cycle Internship, Technical & Commercial Infrastructure

About the role

Join Macquarie Capital's Infrastructure Projects and Capital team as an Off-Cycle Intern. Gain hands-on experience in project development, commercial analysis, and technical due diligence for infrastructure projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Support origination, development, and execution of infrastructure projects across sectors.
• Assess project scope, delivery models, procurement, risk allocation, and adviser inputs.
• Review technical and procurement materials and contribute to bid and investment committee materials.
• Conduct market and project research and coordinate inputs from contractors and advisers.
• Build skills in commercial analysis, technical due diligence, and infrastructure investing.
• Translate complex project information into financeable and investable structures.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in infrastructure-related field with interest in infrastructure investing or project finance.
• Strong interest in design, procurement, financing, construction, and operation of infrastructure projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex project information.
• Interest in technical and commercial due diligence including risk and procurement.
• Strong written communication skills for preparing summaries and reviewing documentation.
• Confidence supporting bid or investment committee materials.
