About the role

Three-month Off-Cycle Internship in Macquarie Capital’s Frankfurt Coverage and Solutions team. Support strategic advisory, capital raising, and transaction execution across industries while contributing to live transactions, client engagements, financial modelling, market analysis, due diligence, presentations, approval materials, and other transaction-related deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic advisory and capital raising activities across a broad range of industries.
• Contribute to live transactions, client engagements, and transaction-related deliverables.
• Develop financial modelling, market analysis, and due diligence capabilities.
• Prepare presentations and approval materials supporting informed client decision-making.
• Gain exposure to transaction origination and execution within a collaborative generalist team.

Candidate Profile

• Complete your final study year, take a gap year, or have recently completed a relevant degree.
• Relevant disciplines include business, economics, finance, engineering, or a related subject.
• Demonstrate strong academic achievement and excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Have a solid understanding of financial concepts and interest in advisory and capital raising.
• Bring previous internship experience in corporate finance advisory, M&A, private equity, transaction services, leveraged finance, or related fields.
