About the role

Join Macquarie’s Technology graduate programme in London, designing, building and improving systems, platforms and tools supporting global people, clients and businesses. During the 12-month programme, you’ll gain hands-on experience across software, cloud, data, AI and digital solutions, supported by training, mentoring and collaboration with technology and business stakeholders.

Role responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance platforms supporting trading, risk management and business operations.
• Work on digital platforms, trading systems, business applications or data tools.
• Develop skills in agile delivery, software development, DevOps, cloud, automation or solution design.
• Use data, analytics, AI and emerging technologies to solve business problems and improve processes.
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders to deliver solutions and improve user experiences.

Programme experience

• Complete an orientation introducing Macquarie’s business groups and helping expand your professional network.
• Receive formal training in financial modelling and presentation skills alongside practical on-the-job learning.
• Work collaboratively and partner directly with business leaders on meaningful and challenging projects.
• Receive support from a manager and aligned mentor while gaining insight into the financial services industry.
• Explore ideas, challenge existing approaches and develop innovative ways to progress the business.

Eligibility and skills

• Applicants must be in their final year and graduate between January and July 2027.
• Relevant subjects include Computer Science, STEM, Physics, Management Science, Software Engineering and Data Science.
• Related fields include AI, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems and other related subjects.
• Demonstrate curiosity, analytical thinking and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Collaborate effectively with technology and business stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
• Show initiative, resourcefulness, positive learning ability, attention to detail and interest in technology solutions.
