About the role
The nine-week Macquarie Asset Management Summer Internship in London offers exposure to identifying, evaluating and managing investment opportunities across real assets. Interns support research, due diligence, portfolio and client activities, collaborate on live projects, and receive tailored induction and on-the-job training while working alongside business leaders.
Responsibilities
- Analyse investment opportunities, risks and market trends across real estate, infrastructure, private credit and real assets.
- Research sectors, markets, assets and portfolio companies to support investment and risk management decisions.
- Support due diligence, investment reviews, risk assessments and portfolio management activity.
- Prepare client materials, market updates and presentations communicating insights and recommendations.
- Support client engagement, product development, marketing and communications activities across asset management and wealth solutions.

- Collaborate with business leaders on live projects and transactions from the beginning.

Eligibility and Skills
- Be in the penultimate year of an undergraduate or master's degree.
- Final-year undergraduates may apply if continuing to a master's degree.
- Graduate between January and July 2028.
- Study economics, finance, management, mathematics, engineering, computer science or another analytical discipline.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, strong numerical skills and clear communication.
- Show collaboration, attention to detail, Excel competency, initiative and interest in financial services.
