About the role
Technology summer internship in Macquarie’s Houston office, embedded within an engineering team supporting trading, risk management, and business operations. Interns contribute to software, cloud, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, automation, and data initiatives while gaining exposure to commodities, energy, and financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
- Support scalable, resilient, and secure cloud, platform, and infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to artificial intelligence, automation, and data analytics initiatives.
- Modernize applications and technology platforms supporting future business growth and innovation.
Working Environment
- Work alongside Houston-based business teams, end users, and decision makers.
- Gain hands-on experience with modern cloud and artificial intelligence platforms.
- Develop understanding of commodities, energy, and financial markets.
