About the role

Join Macquarie Capital’s Spec Fin & Leasing team in New York as an Analyst, supporting client engagements across mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. You will contribute to live transactions and business development, build financial models and presentations, monitor markets and industry developments, and receive formal training and practical mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Support client engagements across mergers and acquisitions and capital raising activities.
• Build and run financial models.
• Draft pitch presentations for clients.
• Help run key transaction workstreams on live deals.
• Track share-price movements and monitor industry news, trends, and transaction updates.

Program Experience

• Complete an orientation covering Macquarie business groups with fellow New York analysts.
• Receive formal training in financial modelling and presentation skills.
• Develop skills through practical, on-the-job learning.
• Develop and test ideas that have merit to create new possibilities.
• Receive support from a manager and aligned mentor while working with business leaders.

Requirements

• Be an undergraduate student expecting to graduate between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, strong numerical skills, and clear communication.
• Collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships.
• Show interest in financial services, with a proactive, resourceful, and positive attitude.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and comfort using Excel.
