Six-month off-cycle internship in Paris with Macquarie Capital's M&A advisory team. Gain hands-on experience in live transactions, financial modeling, valuation, and client interaction within a collaborative, international environment.

Role and Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced colleagues on real-world M&A transactions in French and European markets.
- Perform financial modeling, valuation, and contribute to origination efforts including pitch materials and sector analysis.
- Support execution of mandates: draft presentations, assist in due diligence, organize data rooms, track investor discussions.
- Prepare research materials, market updates, sector overviews, and analyze industry trends.
- Gain significant client exposure and develop technical, analytical, and advisory skills.

Team and Environment
- Join Paris Country Coverage team covering infrastructure, business services, technology, and healthcare sectors.
- Focus on advising upper mid-cap and large-cap clients, primarily on sell-side M&A mandates.
- Operate in a highly international environment collaborating with other Macquarie offices on cross-border deals.
- Work in a collaborative, team-oriented setting with strong emphasis on professional development.

Candidate Requirements
- Final or gap year student at top engineering or business university, or recent graduate with excellent academic record.
- Solid understanding of financial advisory, valuation, accounting, and financial modeling.
- Previous internship experience in private equity, M&A, or deal advisory preferred.
- Fluent in English and French with clear and confident communication skills.
- Strong motivation, proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to integrate quickly into teams.
