About the role

Macquarie Capital seeks an intern for its Jakarta country coverage investment banking team. The role supports senior bankers across financial analysis, presentations, pitch books and deal execution, including structured equity, traditional ECM and cross-border M&A transactions across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, technology and industrials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis for client and marketing meetings.
• Draft presentations and pitch books for senior bankers.
• Support deal execution across structured equity, ECM and cross-border M&A transactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties on complex structured transactions.
• Work alongside senior originators and country coverage bankers across multiple sectors.
• Take responsibility early, show initiative and develop throughout the internship.
