Business Graduate Programme (FTSE Russell)

About the role

Join LSEG’s FTSE Russell Division on a permanent graduate programme starting in September 2027. Over 12 months, you will develop financial-market and business skills, complete rotations aligned with your interests, contribute to group projects, and build expertise supporting indices and benchmarking solutions for the global investment community.

Programme and Responsibilities

• Join FTSE Russell, supporting a business that provides indices and benchmarking solutions across asset classes.
• Complete rotations aligned with your skills, interests, and business needs during the recruitment process.
• Participate in group projects aligned with LSEG goals and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.
• Develop foundational knowledge of LSEG, financial markets, FTSE Russell, and its business operations.
• Join LSEG permanently from day one, with development aligned to the FTSE Russell Division.

Training and Development

• Complete a 12-month development journey focused on foundational skills for future success.
• Attend global and divisional inductions, including team-led business overviews and introductions.
• Attend Ignite, a midpoint skills offsite designed for cohort learning and knowledge development.
• Access industry-recognised qualifications, including five study days during the programme.
• Connect with the global early careers community and participate in volunteering and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Eligibility and Skills

• Be a 2026 graduate, or a final-year undergraduate or Master’s student completing course requirements before summer 2027.
• Demonstrate interest in financial markets through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
• Show curiosity about data and the ability to analyse information, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking, focus, resilience, adaptability, collaboration, and strong communication skills.
• Have unrestricted UK work rights for the programme and subsequent permanent employment.
• STEM, Finance, or Economics students with a strong FinTech or technology interest are encouraged to apply.

Application Process

• Complete an untimed immersive online assessment providing insight into working at LSEG.
• Attend a strength-based video interview answering a series of questions.
• Complete a virtual half-day assessment centre with several exercises.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close early because of application volumes.
