About the role

LSEG’s nine-week Summer Business Analyst Internship in London simulates its Business Graduate Programme within the Markets division. Interns gain exposure to Capital Markets and Post Trade, financial-market infrastructure, data and client-facing solutions. The programme suits penultimate-year students interested in financial markets, technology, analysis and strategic problem-solving.

Programme and role

• Nine-week summer internship starting in June 2027, designed to simulate LSEG’s Business Graduate Programme.
• Placement within the Markets division, covering Capital Markets and Post Trade businesses.
• Gain exposure to capital raising, trading, clearing, portfolio optimisation, and financial and regulatory risk solutions.
• Potential exposure to platforms including FXall and Tradeweb, with clients across global markets.
• Initial rotation placement considers candidates’ skills and interests against business needs.

Recruitment process

• Submit one application and resume; multiple applications will result in review of the first application only.
• Complete an untimed immersive online assessment designed to provide insight into working at LSEG.
• Participate in a strength-based video interview answering a series of questions.
• Attend a virtual half-day assessment centre involving several different exercises.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close early due to application volumes.

Working arrangements

• Employees spend three days with colleagues in the office while working flexibly for the remaining time.
• Assessment centres are held virtually.
