About the role

Join LSEG Markets as a Business Analyst Graduate in London, rotating across financial risk, product support, and global-market research. You will analyse data, contribute to projects, and develop foundational financial-markets skills through a 12-month programme, with permanent employment from day one and opportunities for recognised qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse financial risks, interpreting data for risk projects and reporting.
  • Research, track, and test content and user interfaces for online products.
  • Conduct global-markets research focused on debt listings, valuations, shareholders, and geographic analysis.
  • Analyse information, draw conclusions, and propose solutions for business needs.
  • Participate in group projects aligned with LSEG goals.

Programme And Training

  • Complete a 12-month development journey focused on foundational skills for future success.
  • Build knowledge of LSEG, financial markets, and the business through global induction.
  • Attend divisional inductions featuring team-led business overviews and introductions.
  • Participate in the Ignite midpoint skills offsite with your graduate cohort.
  • Access industry-recognised qualifications, including five study days during the programme.
  • Connect with the global early-careers community and support volunteering initiatives.

Requirements

  • Study STEM, or Finance or Economics with a strong interest in FinTech or technology.
  • Complete studies in 2026, or finish an undergraduate or Master’s qualification before September 2027.
  • Demonstrate interest in financial markets through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
  • Be comfortable with large datasets and Python, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Show analytical curiosity, strategic thinking, resilience, adaptability, and strong collaboration skills.
  • Have unrestricted UK work rights for the programme and permanent employment from day one.

Recruitment Process

  • Submit an application and resume; candidates should make only one graduate-programme application.
  • Complete an untimed Immersive Online Assessment providing insight into working at LSEG.
  • Attend a strength-based video interview answering a series of questions.
  • Complete a virtual half-day assessment centre involving several exercises.
  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close before the stated date.

Working Arrangements

  • Hybrid working includes three days in the office, with flexibility for remaining working time.
