LSEG's nine-week Engineering Summer Internship Programme in London mirrors its Engineering Graduate Programme. Interns work in technology roles across D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell or I&C Engineering, with opportunities spanning development, programming, business analysis and technology project management. The programme starts in June 2027.

Programme Details

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrate interest in technology through work experience, extracurricular activities or academic studies.
• Show interest in financial markets and how technology supports the business.
• Use data curiosity and analytical ability to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
• Demonstrate creativity, focus, resilience, adaptability, collaboration and strong communication skills.

Recruitment Process

• Submit one application and resume; multiple applications result in only the first being reviewed.
• Complete a technical and coding assessment covering coding, logical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Complete an untimed immersive online assessment and a strength-based video interview.
• Attend a virtual half-day assessment centre involving several exercises.

Working Arrangements

• Assessment centres are conducted virtually.
• Employees spend three days in the office and otherwise work flexibly.
